Elements of Belonging: A BIPoC Open Mic Night

Lovers of art, this one’s for you. Y4Y extends a warm welcome to “Elements of Belonging: A BIPoC Open Mic Night” taking place at the Yellow Door Coffeehouse on Wednesday, November 16 from 6-8pm.

You can expect a cozy evening full of poetry and musical performances surrounding themes of belonging. What does home feel like? Where is a home, and what does it mean to belong to one? When and where do you feel like you belong? Can you describe the feelings in detail? These are the themes that will drive performances. The stage is open to BIPoC artists of all linguistic communities, age groups, and identities. Sign up to save your spot! Delicious vegan food courtesy of The Midnight Kitchen will be served at the event.

For those who want to participate in the open mic, fill out our sign up sheet: https://forms.gle/Hx5QQE4WywGJsTmH6. There will also be time set aside for spontaneous performers during the event.

All donations collected will be given to Project 10.
